9/1/10-WHAT SHE SAID will be venturing out to the lovely city of Troy on Saturday night to rock the River Street Pub. Known for fantastic food and a wonderful view of the Hudson, the River Street Pub is where all the cool people hang out in Troy. Come out and join us- the show starts at 10.

8/25/10-  We had a great time at the Tugboat on Saturday night! Join us on September 4th for our inaugural show at the River Street Pub in Troy!!

8/19/10-Come out and join WHAT SHE SAID at one of our very favorite venues this Saturday night! For those who have never made it out to the Tugboat Tavern in Cohoes, you are really missing out on one of the area's hidden gems. The staff and the patrons make everyone feel so welcome- you will feel like a regular that has been going there for years!! The show starts at 10- see you then!

8/11/10- What do you get when you combine some great rock and pop from the last five decades with some of the best food around? You get what you get this Saturday night when WHAT SHE SAID invades Yanni's Too in Ravena!! Come on out and sample some of area's finest dishes with a cold beverage. Or hang out on the patio and enjoy a warm summer evening. Or jam out to some great tunes with us- you get the picture. The show starts at 9..

8/4/10-   Hey!! Join us next week in Ravena at Yanni's Too for great food and awesome rock and roll!!

7/27/10- Many new shows are in the works for the band. Check back often and don't forget to join us next Saturday night in Clifton Park at the Klamsteam Tavern!!

7/14/10-Join WHAT SHE SAID this Friday night on the back deck at the Black Cat Ale House!! There is not a better summer combination- enjoying cold drinks outside on the deck listening to some of your favorite rock and pop from the last 5 decades.  The Black Cat is a great backdrop with fun and friendly party-goers, great food, and televisions broadcasting the Mets and Yankees!! The show starts at 8PM!!
 

7/7/10- WHAT SHE SAID is stoked about some of the new material we are debuting this Saturday night at Joey's Bar in Troy. The band has always prided itself on it eclecticness and these new songs certainly showcase that!! Joey's is a cool joint on the outskirts of Troy filled with friendly folks and cold beer. The show starts at 9:30. Oh, and by the way, if any of you aren't busy on Friday night and are in the Albany area, check out Vincent's original band, reaLation. (www.realation.com) at Bogie's on Ontario Street. They are playing a very cool retro 90's show with the Joe Nacco Band and Gordon Street. Drinks prices will revert to what they were back in 1995 and the person in the best 90's garb wins a prize!! That show starts at 8!

6/30/10-Join us next Saturday night, the 10th, at Joey's Bar in Troy!!

6/23/10- Wow- a week off? This band has been working so consistently; not that we are complaining!! Our next show is on July 10th and we are prepping some funky new material for you all to enjoy!!

6/16/10-Stop out this Saturday night and be a part of a new promotional DVD for WHAT SHE SAID!! Our friend Dan from Best Bytes Media will filming our performance this weekend at the Hotel Austin and you all are cordially invited!! Stop down and party with us- and rumor has it if you are really nice, the band might even you you a FREE copy of the DVD when they get it back!! How can you beat that! The show starts at 9:30- see you then!

6/9/10- WHAT SHE SAID is proud to be a part of Teacher Appreciation Night this friday at The Fuller Roadhouse Grille in Albany. Sponsored by Elite Rank Marketing (www.eliterankmarketing.com), the event offers local teachers an opportunity to be appreciated for all the hard work they do throughout the year. There will be drink and food specials all night and the first 30 teachers through the door will receive a gift bag with items sure to help them assimilate into summer!! Stop down and invite all the teachers you know to join you!! The show starts at 9:30!
        On Saturday night, the band travels back out to Ravena for their second show at Yanni's Too. Join the band for music, cold beer and the best calamari anywhere!! That show starts at 9!

6/2/10- Happy June. Man, it sure is great to play close to home and this weekend WHAT SHE SAID is banging out a double shot right around their homebase in Albany!! On Friday night, the band makes its debut at the Black Cat Ale House in Cohoes! WHAT SHE SAID will be rockin' out on the back deck from 8-12, so stop on down for some cool refreshments and great food. Saturday night will see the band playing Graney's right on New Scotland Ave. in Albany. Check out the band up close and personal at one of the most fun and unique venues in the Capital District. That show starts at 9- see you this weekend!!

5/25/10-Memorial Day weekend is nearly upon us! The unofficial start of summer and the weather this week couldn't be finer!! Welcome in the warm weather with WHAT SHE SAID this Saturday night at the Hotel Austin in Central Bridge. This joint has some of the finest folks around- couple that with the awesome food and cold beverages- you will be so glad you made the trip!! WHAT SHE SAID plays from 9:30-1:30 and promises to deliver high octane rock and roll, with a few new surprises!!! See you there!!

5/18/10-Well, it is a rare week off for the band! We are diligently learning new material, so if you haven't seen us in a while, stop down to check us out at the Hotel Austin on May 29th! 

5/12/10-Boy, have we been busy!! We are quite thankful though, all the extra work has certainly been paying dividends for us!! The band is booking up fast for the summer and beyond, and have, as others have kindly noted, gotten really "tight" with all the extra work. Come out this Saturday night and let us prove it to you at one of the friendliest party spots around, The Tugboat Tavern!! And, rumor has it, the band may be debuting some new material. See you there!! 

5/3/10-HELP!! WHAT SHE SAID is trying to book a coveted weekend show at the Roadhouse Grill (the former Fuller Roadhouse) and we need your help!! Come out this Thursday night- the band is playing nice and early (8:30-11:30) and lend us your support! What's in it for you, you ask? Other than hearing your favorite rock and pop classics from the last five decades, the band will be raffling off really cool prizes! So stop down and chill for a bit, will you?
            If for some reason you can't make it out on Thursday night, there is another opportunity to catch WHAT SHE SAID this weekend! On Friday night, the band stops back in at the Elbo Room in Albany. That show starts at 9:30!! Hope to see you at one or both of the shows!! 

4/28/10-Talk about a weekend of contrast!! WHAT SHE SAID will be playing two places which are the complete antithesis of each other. On Friday, the band will be makes its inaugural visit to Yanni's Too in Coeymans. Located right on the water, Yanni's is a family-friendly place with great food and a mellow atmosphere. This show starts bright and early at 8:30.
            On Saturday, the band travels out to entertain the wild folks at the Old Station Inn in Greenwich. You never know what to expect at the Old Station- we have seen women in their 70's trying to do full splits, full out grind dancing and some things that we have been sworn to secrecy to never speak of again. Come on out and join the debauchery- the show starts at 9:30.

4/20/10-WHAT SHE SAID is totally stoked about this upcoming weekend. On Friday night, the band will be making its inaugural visit to Joey's Bar in Troy. Filled with friendly people and stocked to the brim with cold beer, Joey's is a fun place to check out live music! That show starts at 10.
            On Saturday, the band takes the stage in support of the Unity for Thatcher's event at the Proctor's/GE Theatre. Hosted by 518 Fever (www.518fever.com), this event was created to call attention to the struggles not only Thatcher's is having, but all the NYS parks are having with government funding. Music will be going on from 5-10 and WHAT SHE SAID has a prime slot from 7-7:45. Stop out and open your hearts and wallets to this important cause. Here is the link to the Facebook group event:
 

4/14/10-Four months ago, WHAT SHE SAID made its' debut at Pinhead Susan's in Schenectady!! The place was packed on that January Friday night; friends and family came from miles around to lend support. The band had worked diligently to put together a power packed night of rock and pop from the last five decades. People were engaged and stayed the whole evening- it was a wonderful first show. The band has had numerous shows since then, fine-tuning its sound and adding even more of your favorites from decades past. And this Saturday night, the band will be returning to Pinhead's ready to rock the place once again. Won't you join us?

4/6/10-The calendar change certainly has produced some beautiful weather. Why not celebrate the arrival of spring this Friday night with WHAT SHE SAID at the lovely Elbo Room in Albany? With numerous televisions for viewing early season baseball, to the wonderful food and drink specials, to the dartboards and pool tables, The Elbo Room has plenty of entertainment to suffice on a Friday night. Oh, not to mention, the fact that one of the area's hottest bands, WHAT SHE SAID, will be performing as well- YOU CAN'T LOSE!! See you this Friday!

3/29/10-This upcoming weekend is unprecedented for WHAT SHE SAID. The band will, for the first time, play back to back shows both Friday and Saturday night! On Friday, stop down to Club Illusion in Schenectady! The old "Sportsworld" has undergone some very cool renovations. morphing into a NYC style night club!! Plush furniture, inexpensive beverages, and a great sound system is sure to make this event fantastic!! Our friends from 518 Fever (www.518fever.com) are hosting and opening up the show will be our good friends Gordon Street!! This show starts at 10.

On Saturday night, the band makes its first of many appearances at the Hotel Austin in Central Bridge. Chris and Rae know the place well and they maintain that ANYTHING can happen at the Hotel! Sounds fun and a bit scary!! LOL That show starts at 9!!

3/22/10-Come on down this Saturday night and check out WHAT SHE SAID at The Klamsteam Tavern in Clifton Park. The band has never been there before, but is looking forward to meeting all the kind folks!! Word on the street is that the people are friendly, the beer is cold and the food is fantastic!! The action starts at 9:30- see you then!!

3/15/10- There is a party this Saturday night and you're invited!! WHAT SHE SAID will be performing at The Elbo Room in Albany from 9-1. As you all remember, the band recorded their live DVD there last month and the crowd response was fantastic! This Saturday night, the band will be treating the audience to a full night of rock and pop from the last 5 decades- don't miss it!!

3/10/10-NEW SHOWS ADDED!! We are excited to announce that WHAT SHE SAID will be a part of the fundraiser to Save Thatcher's Park on April 24th at the Proctor's/GE Theatre!! More infor as it becomes available!! 

3/2/10-Happy March!! Spring is on its' way, right? Despite the snow over the last week, the calendar change dictates a new season is fast approaching. Isn't it time to get out and alleviate some of those winter blues? This Saturday night, WHAT SHE SAID will be performing for the first time at Katie O'Byrne's. The band has some very cool things in store, so stop on out, will you?

2/23/10- Our sincere thanks go out to Dan from Best Bytes Media for creating such a spectacular live demo for us.  The Elbo room provided a great backdrop and we were so well received that the venue plans to have us back on March 20th. We have attached a link below for those that have yet to see the demo- leave comments and let us know what you think. This Friday night the band makes it maiden voyage up to Melba Mae's in Hadley. For those of you that traveled up to Melba's, you know that a fun time is had by all there. Great food, cold beverages and fun people populate this hometown bar; it's well worth the drive. See you there!!

The band would like to thank The Elbo Room for all of their hospitality and for making the recording of our video demo top notch. Not to be forgotten is Dan from Best Bytes Media who recorded the video and even attached a link to timesunion.com!!

2/9/10- New Shows have been added!!
Come on out this Friday for Happy Hour at the Elbo Room in Albany. WHAT SHE SAID will be performing a power set from 4:30 to 6:00 and our friends from BEST BYTES MEDIA will be recording it for us!! Enjoy Happy Hour drink specials- and rumor has it, if you ask real nice- the band might even give you a free copy of the DVD!! How can you go wrong!!

Wow- what a great debut last Saturday night at Pinhead Susan's!! The band is totally stoked about reception they got and are looking forward to playing again this Saturday at TJ's Flightline Pub in Scotia. If you were planning to come out to Pinhead's and didn't get the chance or missed us this past Saturday- we have great new for you.. The Flightline Pub is located just a few minutes down the road from Pinhead's so your commute won't be any longer!! This place has a great family atmosphere and great food, so stop down this Saturday to check out the area's hottest new act- WHAT SHE SAID!!! 

1/6/10-We hope you and yours had a wonderful holiday season! This Saturday
night, the band WHAT SHE SAID will be taking the stage for their first
show at Pinhead Susan's in Schenectady. Created out of the ashes of
The Fizziks and popular local band Subzero, WHAT SHE SAID packs a
powerful punch of rock, pop and funk from the last 5 decades.
Pinhead's provides a great backdrop- great food, cold beer and even
check out the Cowboys and Eagles on any of the numerous flatscreens!!
